Steve and Dixie Jones joined the band in 2006.   They are well known in the local traditional music scene and are members of the Old Time band, "The Dixie Volunteers."  Steve, on his upright bass, started "jamming" with the band during the summer of 2006 and Dixie, on rhythm guitar, graciously joined the band in November of 2006 when the band's former guitarist suddenly quit.  David Elder on lead and rhythm guitar is the band's newest member, joining the band in January 2007.  While initially joining as a back-up rhythm guitarist (for those times when Dixie's other band schedule conflicts with performances with Red River Breeze), David's abilities with lead guitar and collaborative blending of rhythm guitar styles with Dixie's playing has made him an integral part of the band.

Red River Breeze plays a mixture of traditional folk music, primarily Celtic, Renaissance and Old Time American.  The music is all instrumental and is usually played strictly acoustic (no amplification) which allows the group's sound to be easy to listen to and very melodic.  Click here to view the band's set list.

The groups' standing weekly gig is on Friday nights at The Looking Glass Cafe from 6:45 to 9:45.  The Looking Glass Cafe is an intimate coffee shop/gourmet restaurant and art gallery located at 329 Warfield Blvd #H in Clarksville, Tennessee.
