Steve and Dixie Jones are well known locally as members in the Old-Time
band, "The Dixie Volunteers."
Steve has
played the upright bass for about eight years and joined Red River Breeze in
the summer of 2006. Dixie plays rhythm guitar and joined the band before
Christmas of that same year when the group’s guitarist left. Besides being
a terrific rhythm guitarist, Dixie has played most traditional stringed
instruments at some time in her life. Steve and Dixie help add the
Old-Time feel to the band’s music.
